Chaung Thar Beach
The best practice is to rent a private transfer from Yangon which allows you to stop on the way to photogaph the serene landscapes of south Myanmar Buses leaves Yagon at 6am and 9pm. Buses usually stop at 2 to 3 points along the way at road side cafes. The journey costs approximately 8000 kyats.
Ngapali Beach
With its long, white-sand beach and crystal clear water, Ngapali Beach has long been a favourite seaside destination for domestic and foreign tourists. There is an impressive range of restaurants that serve freshly caught seafood. Activities include boat tours to Pearl and Kyauk Kalat islands, visits Thandwe market and Thandwe Pagoda, bicycle and motorbike hire, fishing, snorkeling and diving. Watching fishermen land at daybreak. Sunbathing, jogging, cycling and beach strolling. 18 hole golf course is near by any hotels and it can be arranged ½ day for golfer. Boat excursion to Pearl Island and snorkeling near by the islands. Ngwe Saung Beach
Lover’s island is at the end of Ngwe Saung Beach. It offers panoramic views of the beach from its summit. It also offers snorkeling opportunities amongst the coral and brightly colored fish under the waters. One thing to make the island special that it is accessible by foot. When the tide is low enough, just take a walk along the beach, pose at the twin stupas of Kyauk Maumghnama Pagoda, then go through the water to approach the island, taste the nature and snap photos of surrounding landscape,
